Finally, a Human Resources Dept for Employees

1.  How does AskMyHR differ from an employees corporate Human Resources Department?

A:  AskMyHR is a Human Resources Department for employees. There is no divided loyalty between the corporation and the employee.  HR departments within organizations often put the needs of the company first, the employee second. At AskMyHR the employees needs come first.

2.  Why shouldn't an employee seek legal advice when faced with an employment issue?

A: There are instances when employees may need legal representation. AskMyHR does not offer legal advice as our team is not a legal team. Our difference is we are Human Resource professionals and executives who have successfully advised thousand of  employees at various levels within organizations.  Most employee issues can be resolved without any legal interference to the satisfaction of both employee and employer at a fraction of legal fees.

3.  How much are your services?

A: AskMyHR seeks to minimize the financial impact to employees by providing affordable, counseling services. Legal costs can average $300.00 or more/hour; professional coaches can average $200.00/hour while services at AskMyHR are at a fraction of this cost. We can do this by providing memberships to our members at $15.95 per month.  Additional services are available to our members at discounted prices.  Please refer to our Membership section for further details and to register!

4. What is the ASKMyHR client advantage?

A: Clients of ASKMyHR receive the benefit of wisdom and experience gained from a professional and executive team of Human Resource practitioners who have advised thousands of employees and executives within Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 corporations.  Now, instead of putting the needs of the corporation first and the employee second, they can now successfully advise employees on day-to-day employment issues without divided loyalties. They know first-hand how employees can have a successful career thru advancement, protection, and preparation.  ASKMyHR!

5.  What we are not.

A:  Some situations may require the services of an attorney for legal representation; or a counselor for deep-rooted psychological needs.  ASKMyHR reserves the right to refer you to the appropriate party or refuse service.

6.  How can I be insured that my inquiries remain confidential?

A: ASKMyHR maintains confidentiality on all inquiries.  While we provide service to a variety of employees and employers, we can not represent both parties on the same issue - this would be a conflict of interest. However, there are times when both employee and employer enter into a mutual consultative arrangement, but this would be at the request of both parties. We advise clients on a first-come, first-serve basis.  We reserve the right to refuse service; and/or to refer the client to a third-party where appropriate.
